Since its inception, Harley-Davidson has produced the most enduring and recognizable motorcycles in the world.
No other motorcycle has the look, the sound and the feel of those two-wheeled pieces of art.
The motorcycle defines Harley-Davidson, but a wide range of other products and services is available to increase the enjoyment of the experience or give newcomers a taste.
A complete line of genuine motorcycle parts, accessories, apparel and general merchandise offers riders thousands of custom options for their bikes and themselves. Buell Motorcycle Company produces a line of sport and sport touring motorcycles for riders who enjoy pushing their skills to the limit.
Harley-Davidson, Inc. is traded on the New York Stock Exchange (HDI).
Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee
Harley-Davidson friends waited a long time for the new Museum that was nearly 150 years in the planning. The Harley-Davidson Museum™ in Milwaukee opened July 12, 2008, its doors after a 2-year construction time.
The 20 acres Museum site sits right in downtown Milwaukee and visitors will not only be able to enjoy the interior and exhibitions but also the overall industrial-style museums architecture from the outside or stroll along the river walk and enjoy Milwaukee’s skyline.
The exhibitions tell stories of the extraordinary people, products, history and culture of Harley-Davidson.
An interesting idea are the ‘Living the Legend’ walls and plazas where visitoirs can read personalized messages created by individuals worldwide on the Living the Legend™ rivets.
Address: 400 Canal St, Milwaukee WI 53201 (The museums can be found at 6th St and Canal Street)
