The Museum for Industrial Culture, established in a historic factory building in the 1980s, uses exhibits from the fields of technological, cultural and social history to illustrate the history of industrialisation in Nuremberg.
In 2000, the museum was expanded to almost 6,000 square metres of exhibition space, incorporating numerous new museum units. Special attractions include specialist museums, such as the Motorcycle Museum, the School Museum, as well as the "Fun Learning Lab" for hands-on experiments.
