Kaltenberg Knights Tournament (Ritterspiele, Ritterturnier)

The Kaltenberg Knights Tournament is the largest tournament of its kind in modern times. Approx. 120,000 visitors come to Kaltenberg Castle each July, to step back into the Middle Ages, to see the Great Tournament, to stroll across the largest medieval market and to see an eight hour program set on seven stages.

Kaltenberg is located ca. 30 mi (50 km) west of Munich, Bavaria, and about 20 mi (32 km) south of Augsburg, Bavaria.
