Wine tasting in Heidelberg’s Old Town

Under the guidance of our wine expert you will have the opportunity of getting to know six wines in the restaurant Sudpfanne, and then of fortifying yourself with a 2 course dinner. The special taste experience will be accompanied by presentations on the winegrowing areas and the special character of the wines. Duration: about 1 hour plus the meal that follows. Wine tasting with a tour of the Old Town

You are bound to work up an appetite and get thirsty taking a one-hour tour through the twisting streets and lanes of the Old Town. So settle down after your tour to get acquainted with the region’s splendid red and white wines in the authentic atmosphere of the “Kulturbrauerei.” A wine expert provides accompanying explanations. Snacks typical for the Palatinate accompany the wine tasting. After that a delicious meal is served. Duration: about 2 hours plus the meal that follows. Number of participants: 10 – 40 persons Price per person: ca. 49,00€

Wine and chocolate tasting

Wine and chocolate go together perfectly. Both have earned a reputation as “a part of human culture” and both are, enjoyed in moderation, good for your health as well as boasting of rich aromas. During the tasting, initially the color and texture will be examined, then the smell, and finally the taste. All the more reason to test your fine palate with both. Duration: about 1.5 hours. Number of participants: 8 – 30 persons Price per person: ca. 45,00€

Beer seminar with brewery tour and tour of Old Town

You always wanted to know how beer is brewed? Then you are in exactly the right place here at the Kulturbrauerei in the heart of the city. After a one-hour tour through the historic Old Town you will learn everything about the world of beer from a master brewer. The tour ends with a beer tasting with warm pretzels in the brewery cellar. After that, according to your wish, a plate of hors d’oeuvres, a tasty dish, or a threecourse meal awaits you in the brewery dining room. Duration: about 2 hours plus the meal that follows. Number of participants: 10 – 40 persons Price per person: between 30,00 and ca. 50,00€, depending on choice of meal.
