Old Town Hall

Marktkirche

Like in many German cities the urban development started around the market square of any settlement - so it began in Hannover. Merchants and craftsmen used to live the square. In the 14th century, the Marktkirche ("The Church at the Marketplace") was built here.

Stadtpark & HCC

A central venue with an idyllic park and various exhibition halls. Hannover Congress Centrum (HCC) - that's the old city hall, the "Stadthalle" and the "Niedersachsenhalle"-, the "Glass- and Eilenriedehalle" - a lot of room for conferences and big events. The city hall is a large domed round structure with a classical portico.
